Zomfall

Scavenge by day. Hold by night.

Every shot is heard. Search a small town for supplies, carry them home, and hold your shelter when the horde comes at night.

Noise

Every shot is heard.

Every weapon has a sound radius you can see. Gunfire pulls the dead toward you, and the loudest part of town decides where the night's horde hits. A bat is quiet. A gun is not.

Ammo

Make it last.

Find ammo in town or make it at your own workbench. Go from a bat to a pistol, a shotgun, a carbine and a rifle, then build gun posts for your survivors.

The town

Search it by day.

Buildings block sight and streets funnel the dead. The richest shelves sit behind noisy obstacles. Push out from the farmstead to Elm Street, downtown, the mall and beyond.

Survivors

One job each.

Find survivors and walk them home. A Lookout shoots from the porch, Scavengers haul supplies even while you're away, and Guards take the gun posts.

When night falls

Hold the wall.

The horde comes at dusk, from the side you made loudest. Raise the wall from wood to steel plate, man the gun posts, and hold until dawn pays out.

The long road

Bring down the Colossus.

Then the Screamer, the Bloater, and the Last Night against the Horde Mother. After that: the Long Siege, a New Outbreak that keeps an edge, or Hardcore, where one knock-out ends it.

Questions

When can I play Zomfall?

Zomfall is coming to Google Play and the App Store. There's no date yet. When it's out, this page will link to both stores.

Is it pay-to-win?

No. Everything that helps you play can also be earned by playing. The Camp Store sells outfits, a Founder's Pack, a tip jar, an Ad-free pass, Double income and cash packs. Prices are shown before you buy; outfits and boosts can be restored on any device, and cash packs are used up when bought. There are no loot boxes and no energy timers.

Are there ads?

Only if you want them. After a knock-out you can choose to watch a short ad to get half your dropped pack back. And once a day, for each resource you've found, you can choose to watch one for a daily reward. With the Ad-free pass you get both without an ad. Ads never play by themselves, never at night, and never in your first 15 minutes. See Privacy.

Does it need the internet or an account?

No. Zomfall plays offline and saves your shelter on your device automatically. There's no sign-in. The Camp Store and the optional ads go online only when you use them.

Is it for kids?

Zomfall is made for teens and adults (13+): stylised fights with zombies and no blood. It isn't made for or marketed to young children. Each store shows its own age rating, which can differ by country.
