Factories
A crew building with its full crew opens an attachment beside it that makes the crew's material on its own: by day, by night and while you're away. 50 levels in five tiers (Stone, Iron, Iron and Gold, Amethyst, Diamond); output climbs to six times Lv1's.
| Attachment | Building | Makes a minute, Lv1 โ Lv50 | Lv1 cost |

The cash climbs to 2,000 times Lv1's by Lv50. Wood and Meat go to the Sawmill and Smokehouse; everything else to the vault.
The ladder
Ten camp buildings (Trading Post, Campfire, Armory, Sawmill, Camp Wall, Watchtower, Smokehouse, Warehouse, Great Hall, Town Hall) climb past their old top to Lv100, a new look and one ability every ten levels. What a level asks:
- Lv1โ10 โ cash, and Stone from the first few levels.
- Lv11 โ Gold joins.
- Lv21 โ Iron joins; Stone retires.
- Lv51 โ Amethyst joins.
- Lv61 โ Diamond joins.
- Lv81 โ Starsteel. These levels open with the Starfall Crater.
- Lv91 โ Voidstone. Hardcore only, with The Void open; Normal stops at Lv90.
- Lv90 crowns a building (the Royal Builder title).
๐ป Chapters and bosses

The quests run in chapters, and a card names each. Normal has 13, Hardcore 14.
- First Light โ the Home Clearing.
- Teeth in the Dark โ the first bears.
- Beyond the Gate โ the Frozen Forest.
- A Proper Camp โ the Quarry, the Warehouse, the Great Hall.
- The Ridge โ Stone Ridge, the Gold Mine.
- The Iron Hills โ the Bear Prince.
- The Long Winter โ the Glacier.
- The Amethyst Reach โ the Bear Queen.
- The King's Den โ the Bear King.
- The Glacier Matriarch โ Crown Hollow.
- The Last Night โ the Zombie Matriarch.
- The Starfall โ the Starfall Crater.
- The Frontier โ Hardcore only.
- Legacy โ Great Hall Lv10, a New Expedition.
Every boss move shows on the ground before it lands.
Bear Prince โ the Iron Hills
- 12,000 health, hits for 55.
- Charge โ he paws the snow, a red lane shows, then he runs down it. Step aside.
- Plate โ a hit from in front does half damage; from the side or behind, full.
- Into a rock, a tree or the fence โ stunned 3.5 s with his plate cracked: double damage.
- His fall opens the Glacier and sheds Iron.
Bear Queen โ Amethyst Reach
- 36,000 health, hits for 95.
- Spore gas โ a purple ring where you stand, then a cloud that hurts every second for 4 s. Step out.
- Cubs โ at 66% health left, and again at 33% health left, three Crystal cubs. She runs for 7 s while they come.
- Her fall opens the Bear King's Den and sheds Amethyst.
Bear King โ the Den
- 45,000 health, hits for 130.
- Above 66% health left โ claws, and a ground slam every 7 s. A red circle shows where it lands.
- At 66% health left โ he roars and his cubs come.
- Below 33% health left โ enraged: 30% faster, a wider slam every 4 s.
- Ice boulder โ keep your distance and he hurls one; a red circle marks where. Step out.
- His fall opens Crown Hollow and the New Expedition.
Glacier Matriarch โ Crown Hollow
- 420,000 health, hits for 170. She wakes once the King has fallen.
- Frost Breath โ every 6.5 s a blue cone shows in front of her, 10 m long; a second later everything in it is hit hard and slowed. Get beside or behind her.
- At half health left โ she calls a blizzard, and breathes every 4.5 s.
- At 66% health left โ she leaps off the screen and lands in a burst of ice where a red ring shows; from then on, every 7 s, five red rings round you, a shard in each.
- At 33% health left โ she limps away for 3.5 s and nothing touches her; after that every hit she lands heals her a little.
- Her fall frees Crown Hollow's gems and sheds Diamond.
Zombie Matriarch โ the Last Night
- 330,000 health, hits for 230. Twenty nights after the Matriarch falls, she raids the camp with the night's bears.
- Rot ring โ a green ring round her; inside it you take damage every second.
- The dead rise โ while she walks, Risen Bears claw up out of the ground; at half health left she raises the night's fallen too.
- Weak spots โ Watchtower shots hit her 3ร as hard, and every blow she lands on the Camp Wall costs her 150 health per wall level.
- Dawn โ if it comes first she retreats, heals a quarter, and comes back the next night.
- Her fall beats Bearfall. Endless mode begins the next night.
The frontier bosses (Hardcore)
- Snow and Ball, The Twin Flakes โ 364,000 and 434,000 health. Snow keeps her distance and fires icicle lines; Ball winds up a dash down a red lane. When one falls the other rages.
- The Void Bear, The Void โ 720,000 health under six plates; each plate broken leaves a violet hazard on the ground. From half health left he sinks and rises behind you inside a violet ring.
- The Aurora Bear, the Aurora Fields โ 390,000 health. Green above 66% health left: light beams down green lanes. Violet from 66% to 33% health left: two beams, and blinks into a ring by you. Gold below 33% health left: three beams, blinks, and gold pillars that heal him until you break them.
- The Storm Bear, the Stormcrown, the last boss โ 880,000 health. Lightning in yellow rings and a wind that pushes you toward them; every 30 s of the fight he hits 12% harder. Finish fast.
๐ Nights and defenses

Bears raid after dark. Fight by the fire, keep the wall up, and dawn pays out.
- The raid โ 1 + 1.25 ร the night's number bears, at most 52. Hardcore adds 2 for every New Expedition.
- They grow โ each night the raiders have 6% more health and 3% more damage than the night before.
- The Long Night โ every 15th night: a red moon, twice as long, half again as many bears streaming in behind a Night Stalker with four times the health. Dawn pays triple.
- Events โ by day from day 3: Timber Boom (Wood sells ร2 for 90 s), Hunting Season (Meat ร2 for 90 s), Blizzard (bears 35% slower for 75 s), and after Stone Ridge a Gold Rush (rocks regrow at once for 60 s).
- The Camp Wall โ bears must break a gate or the wall; it repairs itself, and dawn repairs everything.
- Watchtowers โ shoot any raider, or any bear chasing someone, in range.
- Guards โ stay out all night. A guard knocked down in a raid can be got up once a night; a second fall is final.
- Fortify โ in the Camp Wall's panel once the wall is at its top, the Matriarch has fallen or Endless is on. Each step adds 5% wall health, Watchtower damage, and guards' health and damage.
| Fortify step | Cost | Total bonus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $3M + 120 Amethyst + 30 Diamond | +5% |
| 2 | $3.9M + 150 Amethyst + 40 Diamond | +10% |
| 3 | $5.07M + 190 Amethyst + 45 Diamond | +15% |
| 4 | $6.59M + 235 Amethyst + 60 Diamond | +20% |
| 5 | $8.57M + 295 Amethyst + 75 Diamond | +25% |
| 6 | $11.1M + 365 Amethyst + 90 Diamond | +30% |
| 8 | $18.8M + 570 Amethyst + 145 Diamond | +40% |
| 10 | $31.8M + 895 Amethyst + 225 Diamond | +50% |
| 12 | $53.8M + 1,395 Amethyst + 350 Diamond | +60% |
| 13 and on | $69.9M + 900 Diamond + 120 Starsteel, then +10% cash and +8% materials a step | +65% and on, no top |
Knocked out
- Normal โ you lose 25% of the cash the Bank doesn't protect (none on days 1โ2).
- Your whole pack drops where you fell and lies there 30 s.
- The crew is shaken for a minute: they walk 25% slower.
- You're up again at the fire. Raids ease off for ten nights after and catch up two a night.
- Lost cash? One short ad wins back half: never in a raid, never in a run's first 15 minutes, at most one in 20 minutes and three an hour.
- Hardcore โ one fall ends the expedition (one revive a run, see Hardcore).
- Endless โ one knock-out ends the run, in either mode.
๐ท Crew

A crew building hires one crew member a level, each with a name. Gatherers sleep inside at dusk; guards stay out.
- Lumberjacks chop and haul Wood. Hunters hunt bears and haul Meat.
- Miners, prospectors, iron, amethyst, diamond and star miners dig and carry to the vault.
- Guards defend the camp at night and run out to help crew near camp by day.
- Crew works, in each building's panel: Closest, Split, or Best value.
| Crew | Health | Carries |
|---|---|---|
| Lumberjack | 60 | 5 |
| Hunter | 80 | 6 |
| Guard | 160 | โ |
| Miner (Stone) | 100 | 4 |
| Prospector (Gold) | 180 | 3 |
| Iron Miner | 260 | 4 |
| Amethyst Miner | 420 | 3 |
| Diamond Miner | 420 | 2 |
| Star Miner | 420 | 3 |
Ranks
- Experience โ +1 a load delivered, +2 a bear they finish, +3 a night survived.
- Veteran โ 40 xp and 7 nights: 10% faster, fighters hit 15% harder, carry 1 more. A silver scarf.
- Legend โ 150 xp and 21 nights: 20% faster, hit 30% harder, carry 2 more, 25% more health. A gold scarf.
Danger
- From day 2 a wild bear may go for crew working close by.
- At 0 health a crew member is downed and bleeds out in 12 s.
- Reach them in time, or a guard does, and they're up at 30% health and limp home.
- Nobody in time and they die for good: the building drops a level, and you hire again.
- Night raiders kill outright.
๐ Hardcore and Deathless

One life. A knock-out ends the expedition, and Legacy carries into the next one.
- The badge โ the Day pill shows your run number, HC-1, HC-2 and on; past 10 it reads HC+.
- Tougher raids โ raiders have 15% more health and 10% more damage, plus 2.5% for each Hardcore run before this one (up to 15%).
- The start โ at most $5,000 in cash, plus what the Bank carried. Awards pay at most 15 minutes of income.
- Past night 100 โ raids climb steeper, a Night Stalker leads more of them, and a Long Night comes every 5th night.
Legacy
- Stars โ a New Expedition banks stars from what the run earned, at most 40 a run.
- Each star โ +5% income, +3% damage, +2% speed. Past 20 stars each is worth a fifth; the speed bonus stops at 25.
- Tokens โ every star is also a token for the Legacy tree at the Great Hall: four branches (Economy, Combat, Crew, Camp) of ten nodes, the last of each asking 60 Starsteel too, and five deep nodes each bought with frontier tokens.
- Reset to first run empties the bank; outfits stay.
| Milestone (Hardcore nights) | Stars | Also |
|---|---|---|
| 25 nights | +1 | the Rimeguard outfit |
| 50 nights | +2 | the Black Ice outfit |
| 75 nights | +3 | |
| 100 nights (The Hundred Nights) | +5 | |
| A Long Night held | +1 | |
| The Glacier Matriarch beaten | +2 | |
| The Zombie Matriarch beaten | +3 |
The revive
- The Expedition over screen offers one revive a run, for a short ad (a plain button with the Ad-free pass).
- Not in the run's first 15 minutes, not in Endless, not after a camp overrun.
- It undoes the fall: you're up at the fire with your Legacy as it was.
- Take it and the run is not Deathless.
Deathless
A Hardcore run that beats the Zombie Matriarch with no revive and never hosted a friend. The count is for life, and the rewards are never sold.
- Run 1 โ the Deathless outfit (all black, hooded), the Deathless award and the Deathless title.
- Run 2 โ the Blackout Axe and the Relentless title.
- Run 3 โ the Crimson outfit and the Crimson Warden title.
- Run 4 โ the Crimson Axe and the Untouchable title.
- Run 5 โ the Ice Trail and the Frostwalker title.
Camp overrun
- At night, with you outside the palisade, raiders at the fire for 8 s put it out.
- 1st โ every material in the vault and the queues is gone.
- 2nd โ the whole crew dies.
- 3rd โ the run ends.
The Frontier
- The Twin Flakes โ night 100, the Zombie Matriarch beaten. Snow and Ball pay the Double Trouble title, the Twin Flakes decoration and 3 frontier tokens.
- The Last Light โ night 200, Snow and Ball beaten. The Lodge: 20 levels, a perk at Lv5 (a daily caravan load to sell here), Lv10 (daily supplies +25%), Lv15 (Training 15% cheaper), Lv20 (the Freelance Mine's second attachment).
- The Void โ night 300, the Lodge at Lv10. The Void Bear pays Void Walker, the Void Shard and 4 tokens.
- The Aurora Fields โ night 400, the Void Bear beaten. The Aurora Bear pays Lightbearer, the Aurora Lamp, the Aurora outfit, 5 tokens, and Voidstone +50% for the run.
- The Stormcrown โ night 500, the Aurora Bear beaten. The Storm Bear pays Stormbreaker, the Gold Statue, the Stormcrown outfit and 8 tokens. Then Ascension.
โจ New Game+ and Ascension

New Expedition

- Always kept โ outfits, awards, titles, decorations, lifetime stats and the Bestiary.
- Hardcore to Hardcore โ also the stars, tokens, the tree and the Bank's carry.
- Twists โ every expedition after your first rolls one, with one reroll (Frontier Scout lets you pick): Frozen Spring (no blizzards, raids 40% bigger), Blood Moon (every 5th night a Long Night), Dark Pines (double Wood a chop, bears hide until close), Long Night (nights 40% longer, dawn pays double), Thaw (trees regrow twice as fast, bears 20% faster), Gold Fever (Stone and Gold sell 50% higher, Wood 15% lower), Iron Winter (raids 30% bigger, the wall 30% stronger).
Ascended bosses
- In Hardcore, from your second Hardcore run.
- The Queen, the King, the Matriarch and the Zombie Matriarch return with 1.6ร health.
- The Queen โ a spore wall: three rings in a line across your path.
- The King โ the Prince's charge down a red lane.
- The Matriarch โ an ice prison: a ring that hurts and freezes you in place.
- The Zombie Matriarch โ a grave call: three graves open and the dead climb out.
- With the Starfall Crater open, each drops 25 Starsteel.
New Game+
- In Hardcore after the Storm Bear, from the Great Hall.
- A new Hardcore run from the start, keeping the Legacy bank, tokens, outfits, titles, awards and stats.
- The run joins your run history and the HC number goes up.
Ascension
After the Storm Bear the night counter becomes Ascension 1, 2, 3 and on. Half the day bar is day, the other half a long night that streams in. One life.
- Ascension 1 โ the raid's health ร1.49 and damage ร1.25, on top of Endless's.
- Each step โ +18.5% health and +10% damage more: ร1.67 / ร1.35 at 2, ร2.23 / ร1.65 at 5, ร3.15 / ร2.15 at 10.
- A night held โ the counter moves on and pays 1 frontier token. A night lost comes again.
๐ค Playing together

Two phones on one Wi-Fi, one camp. iPhone or Android, on the same version.
- Invite โ Settings โ Play together โ Invite, once your camp is 30 minutes old.
- The code โ 6 letters, like K7Q-2MX. It shows at once and lasts two minutes.
- Join โ your friend taps Join a camp on their title screen and types or pastes the code; it joins at the sixth letter.
- Local Network โ iPhone asks once to find devices on the local network. Allow it.
- The visitor brings their own lumberjack: stats, outfit, axe and title.
- They can chop, mine, fight, carry, sell into your cash and vault, collect piles, heal at the fire, repair, and get downed crew up.
- Only the host builds, upgrades, opens gates, buys, or begins a New Expedition.
- Off while together โ ads and purchases, for both.
- Bears are no tougher for two, and the visitor's own camp is sealed and untouched.
- Normal camp โ the visitor's first knock-out revives them free at the fire in 3 s; the second sends them home, and both players get a 10-minute co-op cooldown.
- Hardcore camp โ the visitor has one life: a knock-out sends them home with a 30-minute cooldown for both. A run that ever hosted is never Deathless.
- Frostkin โ a title after two hours played together.
- Leaving โ Send home (host) and Leave camp (visitor) are in Settings.

โ Questions
I got a new phone, or my camp is gone.
- Your camp saves on your device every 10 seconds and rides in its backup (iCloud on iPhone, Google backup on Android). Restore the phone from it and the camp is back.
- On iPhone and iPad, iCloud keeps one camp across both, no sign-in.
- If iCloud finds a second camp with over two minutes of play the other one lacks, it sets that camp aside and offers it on the title screen; Settings shows it as Other camp, with Switch.
- Still missing? Email [email protected] with your Support details.
My friend's phone asks about the Local Network.
- That is iPhone asking whether Bearfall may find your phone on the Wi-Fi. Joining needs a yes.
- Refused it? Allow Local Network for Bearfall in the phone's Settings and try the code again.
Why don't my Watchtowers shoot the frontier bosses?
- By design: towers fire at raiders and at bears chasing someone. The frontier bosses are yours to fight.
- They keep to their own zones, 5 m inside the fences, out of a tower's reach anyway.
Where does Starsteel come from?
- The Starfall Crater, west of the Bear King's Den, which opens once the Zombie Matriarch has fallen: its rocks, and the Star Forge's star miners and Star Anvil.
- With the crater open, an Ascended boss drops 25 when it falls, and a daily supply of Starsteel joins the others.
